Port Types & FAQs
Port a Simple Number
Simple port fees are charged for each porting attempt. If the port is rejected and resubmitted, the fee will be reapplied on your first bill.
We will always notify one if a port has been rejected, and request your permission to re-submit the port.
Successful porting of a simple number
For a simple port to be successful, all complex services on the line must be removed, before submitting the port.
This can include line-hunts, fax stream, and other complex add-ons. The line must also be currently active and not have any form of disconnection order placed.
If there is a disconnection order on your service, call us on
1300 1 83520 prior to submitting the port request to discuss your options.

Port Reject charges
Rejection charges apply to all CAT-C numbers. This means that even if PNV (Port Number Verification) is successful, complex ports can still be rejected for other reasons.
If a port is rejected after PNV Acceptance, we need to resubmit the port request and start the from the beginning, regardless of any porting progress made previously.
Successful porting of a Complex number
A complex port or batch needs to be for the same customer under the same name, at the same address to be accepted.
While a complex batch can have multiple account numbers, this is a rare occurrence.
If you only want to port 1 number out of a larger block, the entire block must be ported with the included number. This is because each of those numbers in the block are associated together and cannot be broken up.
